Whitewater Rafting Instruction Courses
Whitewater rafting has many different styles. The courses below are designed for what some consider the best way to go down the river, by “R2ing”.

Below are the courses offered by H2O Adventures to help teach those wanting to become more confortable and familiar with this style of rafting. H2O Adventures will be partnering with Rafting Magazine for our R2 Courses. Each course includes a Rafting Magazine Annual Subscription ($60 value)

Beginner Course: 2-Day
The beginner course is designed to get students accustomed to working together in teams to effectively get downstream. This course is designed for students who already have some river experience as a paddler with a friend or guest of a commercial rafting company. This course aims to help students understand best practices in whitewater rafting. The goal of this course is to build a foundation for more advanced skills and techniques.
This course is a 1-day course designed for new rafters.

Intermediate Class IV Course: 1-Day
The class IV prep course is designed to help students to develop the skills and understand best practices for running class IV whitewater. The goal of this course is to push student’s skills in a more advanced setting where they can develop class IV skills while getting immediate feedback from instructors. Students will simultaneously be involved in setting safety while working on other skills. This course will build upon skills from previous courses so students should have either taken or have a solid understanding of concepts in the prerequisite courses.
This course is a 1-day course designed for rafter with Class 2/3 experience.
