The Upper Klamath is action packed. Half mile long rapids, steep drops, and a high dessert volcanic backdrop make for an otherworldly whitewater experience.

The river cuts through a steep wilderness canyon at the south edge of the Cascades. The area is rich in Old West history and wildlife. With an average gradient of 40 feet per mile and dependable water releases, this river is a can’t miss for the adventurous looking to expand their river experience.
