Riverside camping in Lotus, CA.

For those looking for a manicured camping experience before, after, or in between their American River trips, our riverside campground in Lotus, CA is perfect!

It features hot water showers, flush toilets, manicured open land (no assigned tent spaces), fire rings, and a full communal kitchen space. The kitchen comes equipped with large prep tables, a propane grill, propane three burner stove, a commercial three compartment sink.

The rate to camp is $15/person per evening and can be added to your trip experience at the time of reservation.

Don’t want to deal with tracking down your tent poles or packing enough blankets? We have tent, sleeping bag, and sleeping pad package rentals available for an additional fee.

Please note; following the covid-19 outbreak, we are no longer providing plates, cups, and additional cookwares for use while camping.

Wilderness Camping during a Middle Fork two day trip

(Not reachable by car)

This camp location is only accessible by raft, making it a unique and private location. After a full day of adrenaline filled rapids side hikes and fishing opportunities, you arrive at the riverside wilderness camp location.

A gear boat paddles along side you during the trip carrying a full kitchen, activities, and all the camp equipment you chose to bring along. Fall asleep below the stars and rise to the sweet smell of fresh brewed coffee in the morning.

The rate to camp is included in all two day Middle Fork of the American River packages. Please let us know if anyone in the group needs any camp equipment. For an additional fee, we have tent, sleeping bag, and sleeping pad package rentals available.

Wilderness Camping in Tahoe National Forest

(North Yuba River Only - Camptonville, CA)

For those joining us on the North Fork of the Yuba, we have a private campground in the heart of Tahoe National Forest. It’s ‘pack it in, pack it out’ environment and thick tree canopy, make it more of a wilderness style of camping.

The rate to camp is $10/vehicle per evening and can be added to your trip experience at the time of reservation.

Don’t want to deal with tracking down your tent poles, packing enough blankets, or hauling in the kitchen? Package rentals available to ease the stress, for an additional fee.
